After V2 of the BETA Records platform has been out for more than 2 years we decided to come up with a new, cutting edge and more, Version 3.

After the scope – mainly developed by former Yahoo music , tagworld – you-name-it – specialist Chris Harper – now CXO (Chief eXperience Officer) at BETA was done, the team decided to setup another BETA Developers Marathon from may 19th to june 3rd 2007.

So I packed my stuff and hopped on the plane may 17th, all the way from Austria to Hollywood.

We brought in people from all the cool studios, labs and code factories and are now in the process of defining hardware and software needs to make our BETA Records V3 vision come true.

There’s always a first step to take and we took it – at Amanda McConnell and Chris Harper’s place in the Hollywood hills with an event, that will be once remembered as the day ‘when it all (again) began’:
