Got me a new Mac Pro about three weeks ago. 8GB RAM. 2 x 3 Ghz Dual-Core Intel Xeon. ATI Radeon X1900 with 512MB VRAM.
All that along with two 30″ Apple Cinema displays.

What a nice setup – if only that damn machine wouldn’t freeze at least once every day. It just freezes – god damn it – right in the middle of nothing. Sometimes only pulling the plug will help it boot back to life. I think it’s one of the RAM chips but cannot prove it yet. So I need to bring it back to the shop for further inspection – if I only had the time to.

But when it works – man – it’s fast. I was tempted to get the 8-core, you know, but then my common sense prevailed 🙂
