First: I really need the MS Office for compatibility reasons. <\/p>\n
I could handle it for a while with NEO Office and Pages, but I have a few but important Excel sheets that just don't run on any of the alternatives. <\/p>\n
Longs story short – I bought Microsoft Office 2004 OS X It got delivered and I first opened the paper box it came in – standard parcel wrapping.
\n\tIn there was a big plastic booklike box – pretty cool actually.
\n\tOpened this and found another plastic box.
\n\tFinally in there was another DVD-like box – plastic again – with the CD and a booklet in it. <\/p>\n
Paper box, platic box, plastic box, platic box – Are you all insane??? <\/p>\n
I only needed the software. On little CD – I would even download it if I could – 500M are not too big to suck down in a reasonable amount of time. <\/p>\n
I'm glad that here in Austria we have a very well working waste separation system so I have the chance to at least deposit it in a way that it will be recycled. But again – this is insane- I'm really pissed off and will write a letter – no wait, even better – I will send all the wrapping back to Microsoft along with a letter!
